Started in the fall of 2006, the McGuire Academic Program students represent the three following populations:

1) Admission Possible alumni
2) Learning Works alumni
3) McGuire Scholarship recipients.

McGuire students are enrolled in seven different colleges: College of Biological Science (CBS), College of Liberal Arts (CLA), Institute of Technology (IT), Carlson School of Management (CSOM), College of Food Science, Agriculture and Natural Sciences (CFANS), College of Education and Human Development (CEHD), and College of Design (CDES).

The MAP office provides intensive academic advising to all CLA students. All other students are advised through their respective colleges; however, the MAP office does provide additional, supplemental advising to all non-CLA students.
