Johnathan Johnson

"Stand up for what is right even if you

are standing alone."      -anonymous

Johnathan grew up in the Southside of Minneapolis and is a sophomore and the University of Minnesota where he is pursuing a degree in sports management. He is also involved in student organizations such as the Men of Action and the Black U. Johnathan became involved with the McGuire Academic Program because he loves working with students. He also loves how McGuire "provides students with diverse backgrounds to attend college and not have to worry about the financial burdens and stress that comes with attending the University of Minnesota."

His aspirations lie in becoming a professional sports agent. After graduating, he will attend grad school to receive his masters, and own his own entertainment management group. Outside of school, Johnathan's interests lie in playing and watching sports. Mostly including basketball, football, and baseball. When not participating in sport activities, he enjoys watching television and watching all kinds of movies. Overall, Johnathan is a very laid back easy going person who enjoys being around people and meeting new faces.
